Gifford Foundation

8 Bridges conducted a developmental evaluation of the 10-year impact of the Gifford Foundation’s program, ADVANS (Advancing and Developing the Value and Assets of Nonprofits in Syracuse). 8 Bridges reviewed program materials and conducted interviews, surveys, and site visits to learn directly from participants. The final report detailed the ways the program has served and strengthened key nonprofits in the greater Syracuse region, and was presented to the Gifford Foundation board of directors in February 2020. The program was relaunched, incorporating recommendations from this research project.
