WAMU / Guns & America

8 Bridges led the learning and evaluation process for WAMU’s national initiative Guns & America. The project placed 10 Audion Fellows in public radio stations across the US as reporters who covered guns, gun culture, gun policy, gun rights, and gun violence in the context of each community. Audion Fellows were a diverse group of new talent for public radio who participated in advanced training and collaborated via a core editorial team based in WAMU’s Washington, D.C. newsroom. A final report on the project, in the form of a playbook of lessons learned, is available on the WAMU website.
